Hi all.
This is the first set I post around here. I've called it Rising Star, and it is the first set from a series named Symphonies in Trance.
The purpose here is to create an all epic set built around uplifting/progressive trance tunes, no matter how old or new the songs are.

Tracklist:
1. Bossanova / Stonecold (Syndique Remix)
2. Thomas Bronzwaer / Resound (Sean Tyas Remix)
3. Cygnus X / The Orange Theme (Moonman's Orange Juice Mix)
4. Mr. Phillips / Departure (Joshua Cunningham Mix)
5. Adam White / Ballerina (Duberina Mix)
6. Armin van Buuren / Birth Of An Angel (Original Mix)
7. Tillmann Uhrmacher / The Pride In Your Eyes (Tillmann's Midnight Extended Club Mix)
8. Above & Beyond w/ Andy Moor / Air For Life (Original Mix)
9. Afterburn / Winter Sun (Original Mix)
10. System F feat. Armin van Buuren / Exhale (Original Mix)
11. Above & Beyond pres. Tranquility Base / Oceanic (Original Mix)

my missus has my wall papering on this beautiful sunny day so i thought id download a mix and cheer myself up.

you certainly have done that. nice work. although im gutted you put exhale in there my next mix was going to have that in!!! :(

hey, you're from Portugal, same as me, we were looking for Portuguese Dj's to make a Portugal in the mix at this station, but not enough dj's so was canceled:p

You're right, trance in Portugal is almost non existent (not talking about psy trance). Personally, I don't know any portuguese trance dj, but if you people of afterhours ever wish to do another Portugal in the mix, you can count on me, I'll be glad to send you a demo.

the transition sounds okay
the musik choice is great
i love ORANGE THEME cause i have my greatest Times with EYE Q Records:grinning:
and Tillman allways is good for such sets

so do on and be part of the DJ contest here on Afterhours.FM:grinning:

looking forward to the next set

try to do an EYE Q and HARDTRANCE Special and i will play it all day long :hug::lol::lol:

Your set is really amazing! I saw in the ID3-tags that you made it in December last year, but it's still kind of actual => You have proven with this set that real trance-symphonies never fade away in 'boring dust' :grinning:. And the transitions are also very good!

I'm glad to have downloaded it. Everything I heard was great, thanks! :hug:

Marco, you're right, the set was made in December last year, but this is the set that I always show first to people who never heard anything from me. :smile1:

Next month I'll post the second set of this series.
