Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask this but...

I'm just wondering why some of these tracks are labeled ID - ID. Is it for copyright protection purposes? To remain anonymous for some other reason? Haven't thought of a name for the track yet?

So why ID - ID?

It can be for any number of reasons including the ones you suggest. Most of the time though it's because the track being played is still unsigned or in the process of being signed, or unfinished and being played as a kind of "road test" if you like. It also prevents illegal file-sharers from easily being able to share rips of the tune online, as there's no artist or title to identify it by :music:

Dang! I knew it.

Not that I'd do something so stupid.

(I 'rip the whole set from megauploads later  )

Ah, I see. However, it does also makes it hard to promote a song especially if an album has multiple ID - IDs. Also based on this forum topic, one can tell that there are many who would really like to know the title. :)
