DJ Name: Mathias Vestergaard (tidbit)
* How long you have been a DJ: Almost a year now
* Style of music played: Trance
* Bio: I'm 25 years old and from Copenhagen, Denmark. I've listened to trance since around '98, and it's still my favorite genre to listen to and mix.
About a year ago I decided to start DJ'ing myself, as I listen to the music all the time, and have always had an interest in the craft. Recently I've ventured into producing tracks myself as well, but as I'm starting from nothing, it'll probably take a while to get results.

I mix on a set of CDJ2000 and a DJM800.

Smooth transitions etc. etc. But one thing I can recommend is don't be afraid of using effects! I know that DJM800 has some great ones built in!

I used the filter color effect on some of the transitions. I don't really like to use many effects, not in a recording at least, it just sounds weird imo. Or maybe I'm just not that good at using them.
