Following up from the massive Defcon Summer Sampler, the latest seasonal bundle from Defcon sees another showcase of some of the label's finest talents brought together in one convenient package!
Kicking things off is Phil Stringer aka Sulaco's massive remix of Theme From Defcon, a track from label honchos Defcon Audio's forthcoming album. Released in this sampler by popular demand, this remix has been doing damage in clubs already for over a year, ahead of a full release in 2011.
John Dopping has earned many plaudits in 2010 already with massive hits like The Mind and here sees his debut release for Defcon with Lemon. Packed full of his trademark Dopping-esque features, Lemon is a dark, bass-driven, tech-fuelled monster of a track, guaranteed to get inside your head as well as devastate dancefloors.
Sergey Babich and Dmitry Buzin, better known as N&R Project, follow up their massive remix of Paul Todd - Back And Forth with their first original track on Defcon. Originally intended as a B-side for one of their forthcoming releases, Before Daybreak received such amazing feedback when being tried out on the public that it gets its advance release in this sampler!
Rounding things off is a new name to Defcon and definitely one to watch. Ahead of his forthcoming release Fixate which is already receiving major support, UK-based producer Jaden Merrick announces himself on the label with The Search. A pumping, uplifting effort, combining a melodic, catchy lead with a well-rounded bassline, this is but an appetiser of amazing things to come!
