After experiencing a turbulent musical profession in South Africa, early 2010 Shane Halcon decided to fully focus on his musical career and moved to EDM benchmark: the Netherlands.
In order to find his place Shane signed to Intuition Recordings exclusively in 2010. With several big tracks to be expected in the near future, this first release already got full support by Menno de Jong, who placed both tracks of the release on his mix album “Intuition Sessions 2 : Rio de Janeiro”

Solid Ground, the more clubby track of the package, features an ingenious piece of music. Listeners will be sucked into the track, which offers a journey through trance. Rolling synths, moody stabs, dreamy pads, full quality beats and climaxes are the way to go for Shane!

The second track on this EP is called “North Gate”, it might as well have been track number 1 on the release, since both tracks are of outstanding quality! North gate offers you a “focus on stabs” track. Another booming theme catches attention, let you float and even makes your feet yearn to move.
