Saint X
In July of 2009, Trance producer Mike Saint-Jules teamed up with Destination X, the music production team consisting of Chris Swai and Thomas Gagasoules, to form “Saint X”. Being no strangers to EDM (Electronic Dance Music), and having 20 plus years of combined experience between them, the Saint X Team quickly got their creative flow synchronized.
Prior to teaming up, both Mike and Destination X were very active in the EDM scene, with several credits to their respective names as writers, producers and remixers.
Mike released his first solo production called, "Sunlit Clouds" under Ferry Corsten's label, Flashover Recordings (Levare) in 2008. Mike then went on to remix numerous artists such as Ronski Speed, Lange, Rapid Eye, Filo & Peri, & Noel Sanger to a name a few, the biggest remixes being Ferry Corsten's “Twice In A Blue Moon”, and Breakfast’s “Take Me Back”. He also worked on a number of collaborations with artists such as Breakfast and worked on recent productions with the rising stars, Filo & Peri for their artist album, "Nightplay".
Destination X also had several credits to their name, having worked together since 1998. Two Destination X releases (both with Rexhouse Music) were on the Billboard Club Charts, with Veronica’s “Relentless – Just a Game” peaking at number 12 on the Club Play Charts and at number 4 on the UK Club Charts (2006), and with Graziella’s “Alive” peaking at number 10 on the Club Play Charts as well (2007). Their 2008 release of “Little Secret” featuring Lisa Molina on Trackworks Records, was also very well received, and broke out at number 5 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart. Another 2008 release of theirs, “Dangerous” featuring Lisa Nicole, was remixed by Gareth Emery and Sied van Riel, among others, and was featured on Markus Schulz’s “Amsterdam ‘08” compilation.
Since teaming up, and with their combined passion for Dance Music, Saint X have had the honor of remixing such artists as Andy Moor (“She Moves” featuring Carrie Skipper), Tempo Giusto & Ima’gin (Stockticker), and Setrise (“Hypernova”). They also released “Timeslider” on In Trance We Trust, and have several more completed projects in the pipeline for release in the coming months.
