Russion producer Michael Filimonov aka Abstract Vision brings us his first original release onto Defcon, backed up with some sterling support on the remix front too! Already no stranger to the big names with a wealth of quality originals and remixes behind him, Abstract Vision is certainly one of the most consistent producers out there.
The original mix is a rework of one of his older tracks that never saw daylight, given a twist for the 2011 crowd. Featuring his signature tough, driving bassline, Hurricane descends in the breakdown into a memorable lead riff that goes off big-time. Made for the peak-time dancefloor, it's sure to cause a storm!
Regular collaborator Elite Electronic is first up on remix duties with a slower, more chunky interpretation. Built around a dynamic structured bass with an electro-techy feel, balanced out with a blissful, melodic take on the breakdown, this is a mix that can work both early and late at night, depending on the mood you're in!
Rounding things off is an epic remix from Rest Point with a long, dark journey of a track that turns Hurricane into something new once again. Building together from different directions, complimented by haunting synth-work throughout, this remix combines many different styles and makes them work together!
