ChunKi - Neverending EP
'Neverending' is dedicated to the countless anonymous people who make up the annual statistics of government reports. Numbers, behind which lie individual fates. ChunKi is a master in transforming emotions into sounds, which is exactly what he brings to this evocative subject. The poignant harmonies bring up goose bumps on our skin, we momentarily find ourselves sinking in a sea of melancholic sound, yet 'Neverending' is always completely a Trance track - rhythmically thrilling and masterly. Ray van Miles contributes his own, no less emotional and supremely danceable version of the theme, the 'Piano RMX'. ChunKi brings the EP to a conclusion with an orchestral version, a veritable emotional climax, which brings the leitmotif almost hymnally to the fore. Keep some tissues ready...
