We Want Armin Only in Greece
Μια προσπάθεια, ένα όνειρο, πολλοί άνθρωποι.
Η ύπαρξη της σελίδας ArminOnlyAthens ξεκίνησε από τη τρέλα, από τη προσδοκία να δούμε αυτό το show στην χώρα μας. Ένα show που θα ανοίξει διάπλατα το δρόμο για την διοργάνωση καταξιωμένων dance festivals (Sensation, A State Of Trance) κτλ στην Ελλάδα.
Η συγκεκριμένη προσπάθεια ενώνει τα 2 μεγαλύτερα fan clubs του Armin van Buuren που σχετίζονται με χώρα. Το Ελληνικό και το Κυπριακό. Η δύναμή τους απαρτίζεται από 17,000 μέλη τα οποία βρίσκονται στα groups του facebook:

Καλό θα ήταν να μάθει ο κόσμος τι ακριβώς είναι το Armin Only γιατί πολλοί το συσχετίζουν με τις εμφανίσεις του Armin van Buuren σε clubs.
Το Armin Only είναι πάνω από όλα ένα show. Ένα show όπου συμμετέχουν live artists, live vocalists, live pianos, live orchestras, live keyboards.
Live vocalists όπως: Ray Wilson, Justine Suissa, Susana, Nadia Ali, Rocoon, Kush, Chris Jones, Jaren, Audrey Gallagher, Sharon Den Adel, Jacqueline Govaert, Cathy Burton, Vera Ostrova, Jennifer Rene, Christian Burns, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ana Criado, Van Velzen, Elles De Graaf, Tony Scott.
Live artists όπως: Rank 1, dj Remy, Roland Klinkenberg, Eller van Buuren, Roger Shah, BT, Jan Vayne.
Ένα show το οποίο διαρκεί περίπου 8 ώρες. Ναι μεν τον κύριο ρόλο τον έχει ο Armin, αλλά απαρτίζεται σε κάθε track που παίζει από special χορευτικά, effects, live φωνητικά κτλ.
Tα Armin Only ξεκίνησαν από την Ουτρέχτη της Ολλανδία το 2005. Το τελευταίο μάλιστα, το οποίο έχει και την επωνυμία του ομώνυμου solo album ‘’Armin Only – Mirage’’, έγινε world tour σε χώρες όπως η Ρωσία, Σλοβακία, Ολλανδία, Ουκρανία, Αργεντινή, Αυστραλία, Λίβανο και Πολωνία. Και εδώ μπαίνει και το δικό μας ερώτημα:
ΓΙΑΤΙ ΟΧΙ ΚΑΙ ΕΛΛΑΔΑ;
Μιλάμε για τη χώρα της διασκέδασης, τη χώρα του ήλιου, τη χώρα του καλοκαιριού, τη χώρα του ΠΟΛΙΤΙΣΜΟΥ. Αυτό που πάμε να κάνουμε είναι κάτι παραπάνω από μουσική. Είναι κάτι παραπάνω από ένα πολιτιστικό γεγονός. Σε μια περίοδο που η χώρα μας βάλλεται από παντού, εμείς πάμε να κάνουμε το ακατόρθωτο:
- Να ενώσουμε την νεολαία μας.
- Να κάνουμε την Ελλάδα κέντρο της Ευρώπης. Όχι γεωγραφικό, αλλά πολιτιστικό.
- Να διοργανωθεί στην Ελλάδα ένα φεστιβάλ το οποίο χαζεύουμε στο internet.
- Να διοργανωθεί στην Ελλάδα ένα show το οποίο πολλοί από εμάς κάθε φορά πρέπει να ξενιτευόμαστε στο εξωτερικό για να ζήσουμε.
Δεν είναι μόνο η μουσική.
Πάμε να δείξουμε σε όλο τον κόσμο ότι υπάρχουμε και εμείς.
Πάμε να ταρακουνήσουμε τα μουσικά δρώμενα.
Πως; Με τη συμμετοχή μας.
Η προσπάθεια αυτή δεν γίνεται από ένα άτομο. Γίνεται από μία τεράστια ομάδα ανθρώπων η οποία δουλεύει ανά δραστηριότητα και απαρτίζεται από ΕΣΑΣ.
Πάμε να κάνουμε αυτή την ομάδα ΜΑΖΑ.
Στόχος μας είναι να μαζέψουμε έναν τεράστιο αριθμό στην page μας σε όσο το δυνατόν μικρότερο χρονικό διάστημα, ώστε να χρησιμοποιήσουμε αυτόν τον αριθμό σαν είδος πίεσης προς τους διοργανωτές των Armin Only Shows. Η μάζα, οι fans, ΕΜΕΙΣ μόνο μπορούμε να το καταφέρουμε αυτό και ΚΑΝΕΝΑΣ άλλος.

Ευχαριστούμε τους trance djs, male και female vocalists που πλαισιώνουν τον Armin van Buuren στα Armin Only Shows, τους ραδιοφωνικούς σταθμούς (Ελληνικούς και Κυπριακούς), τα blogs, τα web sites, τα forums, μα πάνω από όλα ευχαριστούμε ΕΣΑΣ. Έναν έναν ξεχωριστά για την απίστευτη έως τώρα ανταπόκριση.

We want “Armin Only” in Greece
One effort, one dream, many people…
We started the “ArminOnlyAthens” page with a dream… a desire to see this show in our country. A show that will open the gates for even more famous dance festivals (such as Sensation, A State of Trance, etc) to include Greece as a destination.
This effort unites two of the biggest national fan clubs of Armin van Buuren, the Greek one and the Cypriot one; combined, these two have over 17000 members, and you can find them in the following pages:

A common question many people have, is what’s the difference between an “Armin Only” show and the various guest appearances Armin makes in various Greek and Cypriot clubs. Αfter all, it is known that he considers us one of the best crowds in the world and he always enjoys performing here.
“Armin Only” is a show - a concert if you like, only so much more because we have the participation of live artists, live vocalists, live pianos, live orchestras, live keyboards. All these years it has featured live acts from Ray Wilson, Justine Suissa, Susana, Nadia Ali, Rocoon, Kush, Chris Jones, Jaren, Audrey Gallagher, Sharon Den Adel, Jacqueline Govaert, Cathy Burton, Vera Ostrova, Jennifer Rene, Christian Burns, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ana Criado, Van Velzen, Elles De Graaf, Tony Scott, and live performances from the likes of Rank 1, dj Remy, Roland Klinkenberg, Eller van Buuren, Roger Shah, BT and Jan Vayne. The show lasts approximately 8 hours, and Armin van Buuren plays the key part in all this – but is joined in various tracks from special dance acts, effects, live vocals etc.
“Armin Only” shows started in Utrecht, Holland in 2005. The latest one, which is appropriately named “Armin Only – Mirage” after the latest artist album by Armin van Buuren, is essentially a world tour, and has already been a massive success in various countries such as Russia, Slovakia, Holland, Ukraine, Argentina, Australia, Lebanon and Poland. And the question rises:
WHY NOT GREECE?
We are talking about the land of the sun, the summer, the birthplace of culture. What we are striving to do is so much more than just Music. It’s so much more than a mere cultural event. In a period where our country is through dark times, we are trying to do the impossible: To unite our youth. To host a show, that only people who travelled abroad had the opportunity to witness.
It’s not only Music.
We’re going to show the world that we are here, and our voice matters!
Let’s shake the local Music industry from its roots!
How? With your active participation.
This is not an one-man show. We are a group of motivated individuals who share the same passion for music and the same dream, and that’s all of us. And this small group is getting bigger and bigger each day that passes!
Our goal is to gather a very large number of Likes in our Facebook page in a very short period of time, so that we can use this number to convince the organisers of the Armin Only shows to consider Greece as a viable candidate for an Armin Only show. This is not just wishful thinking, we know that, if many people Like our page, if we do this, the organisers will definitely stop and take notice. So all of us together, the fans, only US can make this happen and nobody else. So that’s the reason we need everyone, you, your colleagues, your family, your friends, to spread the word and Like this Facebook page so that our numbers grow. It’s exactly what the organisers want to see, that in these troubled times, the dance scene in Greece is strong and present and wants this event to happen with a passion.
Before closing this, we would like to sincerely thank all the Trance DJs, male and female vocalists that accompany Armin van Buuren in the “Armin Only” shows, the radio stations in both Greece and Cyprus, blogs, websites, forums, but, most of all, we would like to thank each and everyone of YOU for the incredible support you have given us so far.
And you know what? As we say in Greece, Ulysses’ goal may had been Ithaki, but the journey to get there was what made it magical…
