Argy Fundamentals
When ARGY first shook the waters of the electronic dance music scene he was only 20 years old.
Now 26, and one of the most charismatic and musically consistent figures within his scene, the prolific artist never seems to stop developing his astonishing music carreer with clarity and boldness rarely found, releasing highly acclaimed records on labels such as Cocoon, Dennis Ferrer's Objektivity, Cadenza, Poker Flat, Permanent Vacation, Versatile, Ibadan and his own very special These Days.
Argy's vast musical background as well as his ability to blend the American and European House and Techno sound with his own unique way, allowed the producer to cross-over into almost all dance music territories, while his ability to foresee and percieve the fast running music developments and movements made him always relevant, important and highly influential.
Splitting his time between producing music and DJing, Argy has been able to travel most of the world already and headline the most prestigious events and nightclubs worldwide. With a growing reputation of one of the most versatile, knowledgeable and "high-energy" DJs around, examples of his visions of a club performance can be experienced through his very well received Mix CD compilations for D.EDGE club in Brazil and Cavo Paradiso in Greece.
Alongside his numerous high-profile releases in 2011, the focus is clearly Argy's full length album "Fundamentals" for Ibadan Records, which is undoubtedly one of the most long running and succesful House Music labels that ever existed.
Taking the classic sounds of Kerri Chandler, Masters At Work, Todd Terry and Joe Claussell into the future, Argy's nostalgic, unique and futuristic approach of 90s House and Techno all comes into place beautifully and organically in this hour long Album which is destined to be enjoyed for many years to come.
