Rising star and Defcon favourite Jamie Walker is back again with his fourth original EP to round off what has been an incredible twelve months with the label.
His distinctive brand of power-trance has won him a wide range of support and admirers and was topped off recently when the title track of his earlier EP "Mind Games" was played at the ASOT500 events. Soon we can also look forward to his collaborations with Bryan Kearney to come on his Kearnage imprint.
Jamie's latest offering for Defcon is a 2-track EP that demonstrates two different sides to Jamie's production, but both showcasing his technical ability and signature driving style.
Exposure is a massive late-night dancefloor destroyer - combining a powerful bass with a massive lead riff that builds into an epic breakdown and kicks off into a hard, pounding crescendo.
On the flip-side, Dubtize is a darker, slower affair with a haunting vocal over a chunky bassline, building into a proggy yet uplifting drop and rounded off with freakish acids and a wobbling break!
With lots more planned for the summer from Jamie it seems as though there will be a lot of excitement crammed into the next few months!
