From the minimalism of Maurizio at the original “Be Yourself” party, to the twisting, sinuous rhythms on his “Futurism” compilation, to his co-headlining dates with legends like Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin, the genre is as essential to DT’s sound as house, R&B and everything else. Tonight, Danny devotes his focus to the metallic, the synthetic and the walloping, creating a full-length set tribute to techno. Once in a lifetime? You bet it is.
