Aaron Dae
Aaron’s versatility as a DJ, promoter and label owner have kept him at the forefront of underground house music since 1994. On the decks, he crafts deep, soulful, funky, spacey sets that take audiences on an aural journey. As a label owner and A&R director, Aaron embraces tracks steeped in the classic 90s house vein as well as grooves of the cosmic disco sort. In whichever realm he works, the Brooklyn-bred artist intertwines a soulful commonality into his electronic sound. Its house music understood on all levels.

Aaron began his career in the heyday of the 90's NYC rave & club scene and spent his formative years promoting famed New York Clubs Tunnel, Twilo, Vinyl and Limelight. Eventually, he relocated to Philadelphia, where he began regularly DJing & producing events at local and regional clubs. Throughout his time in Philadelphia, Aaron laid the proverbial house music soundtrack to weekly crowds and eventually came to co-create the SunDae brand alongside Lee Jones & DJ Dirty. SunDae, one of Philly's longest running, ongoing, and prolific house event brands, has become a "must play" stop for artists such as Hector Romero, Andy Caldwell, and JoJo Flores as well as hometown heroes like Josh Wink, Questlove of the Legendary Roots crew, King Britt, and Rich Medina.

In early 2004, Aaron translated the success of his promotional career into the launch of a new music label, Dae Recordings. Unlike his own, self-branded style of “soulful funk,” Aaron signed on house tracks rooted deeper in uptempo grooves. “It’s gotta be funky,” he said on signing tracks for his Dae imprint. After a twenty release stint featuring house heavyweights like Derrick Carter, Onionz, Johnny Fiasco, Greenskeepers, Julius Papp, Manuel Tur, Miles Maeda, and Schmoov!, Dae still continues to garner massive support from industry tastemakers worldwide.

In 2005, Aaron deepened his own music career by relocating to Chicago. Producing and performing in the House music epicenter pushed both Aaron and Dae Recordings further into the forefront of the music scene, sharing the stage with Chicago classics like Mark Farina, Derrick L. Carter, Glenn Underground, Mark Grant, Terry Hunter, Ron Carroll, and Diz. In addition to dropping his spacey, soulful sound on audiences, he continues promoting events across the country. At Miami’s annual Winter Music Conference, Aaron successfully hosted “Floatin’” for two consecutive years. The sold-out luxury yacht vessel carried 300-plus party-goers and featured three separate rooms of live DJs. His current outdoor daytime events at WMC and the Detroit Electronic Music Festival, Afternoon Delight, Do You Wanna Boogie?, and Now In Stereo, have been rated by Mixmag in the top 5 daytime parties (alongside massives like Ultra) and are considered to be some of the year's most anticipated events. From Lovebirds, Vincenzo, and Crazy P to Marques Wyatt, Jamie Lewis, and Dj Spinna, Aaron has continued to push the creative envelope within his events.

While Aaron draws influences from the classic likes of Masters At Work, Todd Terry and Joey Negro, he also infuses elements of electronic soul. Artists such as Ron Basejam, Spirit Catcher, Hot Toddy and Lovebirds have all defined an aspect of his playing style. The result is a deep house blend of disco, funk, soul and space. “My live sets are about the journey,” he said. “I like to take people on a trip into the future past.”

In 2010, Aaron has relocated back to "the city that never sleeps" and focused his attentions towards a slew of new event productions as well as launching the new Razor –N- Tape edits label. You can also catch Aaron every month at the local events he co-produces: Galaktik (Brooklyn) & Just For Kicks (Manhattan) as well as every week alongside his co-host, Tortured Soul's own, JKriv on inthemixradio.com. Tune in to their Electric Avenue radio show for the finest in Disco, Boogie, House, and all things groovy!

DIRTY
With a passion for the soul in music, Francisco Collazo… DIRTY, has become one of the hardest working, diverse, and creative DJs and party promoters in the music scene!

DIRTY grew up in Delaware in a home filled with the sounds of R&B, funk, freestyle, and disco. By the tender age of 14, that musical foundation led him to venture off and discover the creative electronic sounds of the underground scenes in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. Fully inspired, DIRTY acquired the “tools of the trade” in the late ‘90s and then began DJing when he arrived in Philly in ’04.

With a hunger to learn, the loyalty needed to build lasting relationships, the drive to “do the work”, and the passion for the music… DIRTY has partnered with Lee Jones to build one of THE longest running parties in Philadelphia and a “brand” now known world-wide: SUNDAE. This “stage” for making music accessible to everyone also helped DIRTY hone his Djing skills and evolve his style to include the whole range of music that dance floors’ desire!

From London to Miami, New York to LA, and from Chicago to his current home in Philly… Francisco has shared the decks or hosted parties with Questlove, Josh Wink, Danny Krivit, Jellybean, Timmy Regisford, King Britt, Mr. V, Miguel Migs, Rich Medina, DJ Spinna, DJ Spen, Hector Romero, Todd Terry, Mark Farina, Terry Hunter, Marques Wyatt, Black Coffee, Crazy P, Tony Touch, & Diplo… to name just a few!
Over the last several years, DIRTY has begun to apply those same skills and strengths that have made him a great DJ to building and helping to build, long-lasting parties that people love! MIGHTY (displaying the full gamut of music and artists), STEPPIN’ OUT (focused on ‘80s), AFTERNOON DELIGHT (five years strong in Miami & LA), and DO YOU WANNA BOOGIE? (three years of boogilicious grooves in Miami & Playa Del Carmen) are examples of DIRTY’s internationally known parties with wide-ranging appeal!

With his track record of delivering… PARTIES FOR THE PEOPLE, an expansive musical repertoire, and good-natured approach with everyone… Francisco is poised to continue to make a “DIRTY mark” on the music, party, and club WORLD for a long time!
