When the Echelon head honchos Tempo Giusto & Ima'gin team up in studio, you can never really expect what is coming out. Their newest collaboration "Gemini" is an avantgarde work which blends ingredients of minimal, techno, and trance genres in an exciting manner. The basic drive in Gemini is pounding and relentless, starting with a murmuring bass and an enticing minimal vibe. The track grows with a loud tech pluck all the way to the break in which a trancier phase kicks in. Long blazing leads play a dramatic theme, creating a fleeting metropolitan feel with the deep rumbling bass sweeps. With Evol Waves remixing the original, this package is golden and definitely something different. With a slight resemblance to the dark atmosphere of "Name Is The Answer", the remix goes on with a massive tech drive and thick pumping texture, using variations of the lead theme from the original mix in a great contrast.
