2. Ciro Visone - Chain Reaction
Ciro Visone returns to Defcon with his second original EP for us, this time with another two-track helping in the form of Opera and Chain Reaction.
As the title suggest, Opera is a track with classical and operatic influences, set over a pumping bassline. Swirling synths and arps all coalesce to deliver a melodic and uplifting outcome that's sure to satisfy the dancefloors.
On the flip-side, Chain Reaction is a slightly darker affair, with a more driving feel about it. Complimented by acids, tough percussion, and a haunting breakdown that creeps up on you, resulting in a solid climax.
