Echelon presents a fresh name in the scene - Christish - short for Christina Gavrilova. She comes from Russia and started spinning records at 14 and later learned producing. The style of this lady is mostly big and mean with fat bass lines flirting with techy fx's, though she also knows how to serve a deliciously classic trance sound. Her debut EP consists of two great tunes 'Equator' and 'Lost Sungate'.

Equator starts the EP with a deep bass drive and long pitch sweep, followed by a broken bass and chord sequence. The breakdown presents a melodic theme which prepares for another smashing run of the bass and percussions. The b-side track Lost Sungate is based on an intense tech riff sped up by the pumping bass-percussion section. The breakdown mellows down momentarily and then lifts up with a massive lead theme.
