Brazilian artist Eddie M lastly appeared on Silk with his collaboration with B.O.N.G. on Silk Digital, "Hotel Rooms". This time he is back on Silk Sofa with "Strictly For The Love" – a unique collection of three downtempo cuts.
The title track begins with an array of extremely groovy synth elements, and an enjoyable breakbeat follows shortly after. The guitar riff plays rather well with the soothing background elements and the refreshing pad lines. A second theme lead is introduced later, uniting brilliantly with the rest of the elements.
"May 19th" introduces heartening pad lines and lush rhodes lines. A calm breakbeat emerges, while background melodies, as well as a unique guitar-like synth, are added. The break consists of samples of ocean waves, as well as a full showcase of the main melodic themes.
The final track is "Sunday Afternoon", which begins with comforting pluck melodies and lush pad layers. A deep, groovy bassline is introduced, as well as supporting rhodes melodies. Refreshing background synths emerge, while numerous enjoyable pads float on top.
