Following the launch of Shingo Nakamura's "Only Silk 01", we have been releasing various tracks from this mixed compilation, as part of full singles and EP's. One of the deeper cuts on this acclaimed mix is "Sensation", by first time Silk contributor Stan Chetverikov. For its latest release, Silk Textures is thrilled to present a full, DJ-friendly version of this track, along with the brand new cut "Sappheiros". The title cut, "Sensation", features a chunky groove, along with subtle and delicate melodic tones, which float and echo throughout the song. Gurgling sounds and soft, sexy whispers are amongst the many innovative atmospheric sounds and effects that fill out the soundscape. The B-side, "Sappheiros", is another deep, sensual affair, which centers on a haunting pad and cavernous sub. The rhythm picks up steam as the track progresses toward the main break, at which point the beat drops out, and an evocative piano instrumental ensues. The moody atmosphere extends through the drop, as the funky low-end continues to inundate the listener with deep and erotic vibes.
