2013 make room for an empire!
The dynamic duo of Nicologik and Zephyr teamed up with superstar JOOP for a colossal track that is “Impero”. The trio waste no time in getting straight to the point by avoiding the average minute long beginning bass-line. Within seconds the melody is clear and vibrant in drums sequences and a continuous building bass. The breakdown is the calm before the storm of key synths and a high pitched frequency but reintroduces the melody once again. The ending fade is the perfect length for future mixers.
On remixing duties is rising Dutch talent Sherano whose interpretation is superb! There is a dramatic change in pitch from the original adding a denser atmosphere without slowing down. What’s most impressive is the whispered backdrop of male vocal harmony, creating a sweet and sour remix!
