Tom Colontonio - Hopewell EP
Tom Colontonio's assault on the EDM scene comes on the back of a longstanding DJing career and many years spent in bands and as a session guitarist. Undoubtedly, it is this solid musical background which gives his productions such technical depth and polished soundscapes. Having only his first release back in 2007 Tom has come along way to lead the US EDM to position himself alongside the most acclaimed producers in the industry.
Hopewell is the anthem adopted by the ASOT600MEXICO campaigners when they where pitching to get Armin van Buurens ASOT600 event in their city. The meaning of the track is literally a 'well of hope'. A place for hope, imagine throwing a quarter in a well and making a wish. It's a song for all people who have hopes and dreams.
The 2nd track on this EP, "I Dream of Guitars" shows off Tom's session guitar skills with his killer and catchy lick in the main break.
