Viral Trance Summer Event | 9th August 2013 | at Square Lounge Bolton, with Headlining DJs, Claudia Cazacu and Gareth Weston
CLAUDIA CAZACU (ARMADA)
Born in Romania Claudia moved to the UK in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the capitals club scene. In 2006 Claudia realised dance music was her path and set about creating a career behind the decks.
Today Claudia boasts an impressive discography with massive releases on the Spinnin and Armada group labels. Her studio work has received support from the worlds biggest DJs as well as being featured heavily on compilation releases.
Claudia runs her own record label ‘Couture’, currently on it’s 60th release and produces the ‘Haute Couture’ radio show monthly which is aired on 14 stations worldwide.
UK Clubbing bible ‘Mixmag’ have twice featured Claudia making her ‘Tune Of The Month’ in October 2008.
Claudia has recently provided mixes for Ministry Of Sound’s Trance Euphoria and Armada’s ‘Worldwide Trance Sound’ compilation brands.
GARETH WESTON (ARIA KNIGHTS, VIBRATE SOUNDS)
Gareth started DJ’ing about 10 years ago after becoming obsessed with trance, and harder styles of music. His main influences then were Scot Project, Yoji Biomehanika and Uberdruck.
He then started learning music production soon after that but it was never something he really dedicated himself to, and he concentrated on his DJ’ing. As Dj’ing became more accessible to everyone, he felt producing was a better way to stand out from the crowd. He then threw himself into the studio and with help and determination began to form his sound. Labels like Aria Knights and Digitized Recordings saw this and it was long before he was topping the charts and been played by every major DJ going. His collaboration with Darren Porter ‘The Tesla Effect’ was a major hit in the summer of 2012 and was picked by John O’Callaghan for his Subculture Selection on Armada.
With a lot more massive tracks and remixes lined up plus a DJ residency for Newcastle night ‘Native’, the future is very bright for this man.
ROBBIE VAN DOE (DISCOVER, MENTAL ASYLUM, NU DEPTH RECORDINGS )
Discovers latest addition Robbie Van Doe has burst into the scene with his mind set on producing hard honest trance which packs a punch and he's certainly delivering.
Robbie's unique style trance has supplied the biggest DJ's such as Armin Van Buuren, Indecent Noise, John Askew, Aly & Fila and plenty more high flyers with enough ammunition to fire at the crowds to keep the clubs raging.
Robbie's future is looking bright and we have more to look forward to in the coming years. Heavily featured on two renowned, quality labels, Discover Records & Nu-depth, his releases have a certain trend embedded in them; Colossal energy, prodigious melodies and evil acid hooks; Three important factors of modern era Trance. With a consistent flow of releases, Robbie has maintained his standards, delivering tracks of a standard so high enough, that Discover simply cannot say no.
Each release has surpassed the previous release and as a result, we can look forward to Robbie's debut release on Indecent Noise's fierce label Mental Asylum this year.
You don't need to watch out for Robbie in the future. He's here now, he'll be here in the future and rest assured, he will continue to make his stamp.
