Earlier this year, American sensation SNR and Kenyan talent Rikkaz joined forces with legendary vocalist Jan Johnston on "Beautiful Change", a peak-hour, trance-tinged single that was released on our Arrival division. We're thrilled to feature several stunning new remixes of this track by Arthur Deep and Zan Prevee on our prog-deep division Silk Textures.
Celebrated Russian talent Arthur Deep, an artist who has been inextricably tied to our label since its inception, returns from an extended hiatus with a lush, sensual, and all-around "refined" remix. The groove and atmosphere are firmly entrenched in prog-deep terrain; however, as per usual, Arthur decorates the track with rich melodic layers, as well as subtle vox and synth stabs. Of course, Jan Johnston's voice rides the groove with effortless ease, greatly enhancing the cocktail-after-work vibe of this one.
We're also thrilled to present an exceptional interpretation by Zan Prevee, who appears on Silk Textures for the first time. An inspired work from start to finish, it jets out of the gate with an energetic house groove, while an exotic and provocative soundscape is created by numerous pad layers. After a mini-break at the quarter turn, we are met by the lead vocal, which has been processed with a brilliant combination of stutter and reverb efforts. The melodic pads and aquatic bassline, meanwhile, continue to soothe the soul as the track progresses.
