JUSTE DEBOUT USA is the world's largest international street dance competition and Deep Space is proud to be appointed the closing party of the prestigious two day affair. The calibre of dancers, who fly in from around the country and abroad, are incredible, and we're hoping some of them will join us on the dance floor at Deep Space on Dec. 9. We're happy to present one of Juste Debout's highly curated undaground dj's, Rafiki, who will play a Deep Space mix. If you're around the weekend of Dec. 7 & 8, it's well worth attending!

On December 7th & 8th, 2013, the Juste Debout Tour will kick off in NYC for the USA Qualifier, before taking a journey through 13 dance nations in South America, Asia and Europe. With a focus on Underground dance styles, Juste Debout USA will showcase the best North American talents in Locking, Popping, Hip-Hop, House, Top Rock and Experimental categories. Winners from each qualifier will be flown to Paris to represent their country at the international finals March 1st & 2nd 2014.

Founded in France in 2002, the Juste Debout Festival has since become the world’s biggest touring street dance event, often called the Olympic Games for Underground dancing. Each year, the World’s top urban dancers partake in this competition and deliver the most creative and breath-taking freestyle performances right in front of crowds ranging from a couple hundred to 16,000 people.

The North American Qualifier will gather close to 1000 attendants from across the USA and abroad for an epic weekend celebrating dance and music. Festivities will start Friday night and end Monday night. Additionally, this year the legendary Cirque du Soleil will join the event to host special auditions on Monday December 9th.
