DR071 Ataraxia - Odessa/Offside

Up next on Digitized is another first timer with a bright future. Ataraxia brings his uplifting sound to the label with an uplifting EP supported by some great remixes from Red Sky and debutante Andy Cain.

This great EP will be sure to maintain Digitized name as one of the leading trance labels from the UK.

Odessa - Original Mix

Odessa is an energetic track that will get your foot tapping right from off. Building gradually with plucky arps and subtle key changes as it moves towards an atmospheric drop filled with huge strings and lush chord progression sure to get those hands in the air of any dance floor. Smooth and airy pads bring the you to the hook, a pure uplifting plucked chord, which builds the track up to a crescendo. At the drop the beat comes back and gives one of those great trance moments that’s sure to get the crowd bouncing or your head bopping.

Odessa - Red Sky Remix

Red Sky’s remix of Odessa takes on a more techie feel, with tougher kick and rolling bassline, giving the track a different feel. As it builds the atmosphere grows using luscious strings and pads creating a euphoric feel driven by the techie bass undertones. At the break low strings take center stage giving it a slightly darker feel. The hook builds gradually and the bassline brings the energy levels up as it reaches its climax and then....... Boom. A huge uplifting trancer that will send shivers down your spine and make the hairs on the back of you neck stand up. A great rework of a great track from Red Sky and one to watch out for in future.

Offside - Original Mix

Offside is another pounding off beat bass driven track that would sound simply awesome on a club system. The tight bass and simple but effective percussion move the track along as the pads and arp build it gradually, constantly raising the temperature. The break has a darker edge to it with the pads giving it an almost eerie feeling. The plucky lead lifts the track up and gives it an uplifting feeling amongst the darkness of the pads, building gradually to the drop. Mixing all the elements together after the drop this track is guaranteed to get your foot tapping, and dance floors dancing. More atmospheric then Odessa but still equally as good.

Offside - Andy Cain Remix

The Andy Cain remix of Offside gives it a different flavour. This more techie rework uses strings and rolling fx arps to build it up gradually. Reaching the break in quick time at under 2 minutes this is where the track comes into its own. Hugh low pads and atmospheres build the break, with subtle pianos to give it that dark but euphoric feeling before the main lead, a distorted square lead brings the gritty edge to this rework back. At the drop, the big kick and bass take the track up a level while maintaining the darker edge to the remix. This remix is a great example of how a track doesn't need loads of different elements all going together to work and offers a great alternative take on the original.

DR071 Sonny M - Pure

For DR072 we welcome another new producer to the label n the form of Sonny M, supporting by some massive remixes from established producers in the trance scene

Original Mix

Pure is a Digitized release through and through. Strong kicks and bass supported by that techie feeling and drive make this another great one for the collection. Building up slowly with pianos and huge trance pads to a key change all trance lovers will enjoy. Atmosphere is key in this track and the subtle glassy plucks and sweeps build and drop the track to a break containing trance bliss. Huge warm pads and chords build the track to a massive hands in the air moment. Filtering bass bring and pianos bring the track up before it drops a big atmospheric feel good trancer on the listener. If you like big atmospheres driving by meaty bass and drum and rolling percussion this is a track for you.

Alan Ruddick Remix

he Alan Ruddick Remix gives the original a totally different flavour, kicks and sub basses drive the track long as acidy fx arp and pads build it slowly to a mine break where deep low pads are accompanied by and filtering pluck to build it. The key change is really driven along by the rolling bassline and subtle percussion keeping the track with a minimal flavour that would sounds awesome on a subby club system. At the break the atmosphere continues with deep sounds that would fill a room with spine tingling frequencies. The build is small, the impact is big after the drop. This will catch clubber off guard and probably send them a bit mental. If you like stuff with a psy flavour but uplifting sounds and great atmosphere this is the remix for you.

Changes Remix

The Changes Remix gives this track another feel. This is the remix for those of you who like driving and dirty sounds tech uplifting trance. Minimal percussion are complemented by dark fx and track drops often you associated with the harder edge of uplifting trance. Building arps develop the track as it moves to the main break gradually filtering in and raising the temperature. With no messing about the hook comes straight in with massive pads and chords bringing the all important trance atmosphere to the remix. The build is short, sweet and to the point and is sure to please those of you who don’t like long trance build ups> minimal at the drop the power comes from the bass and kick and this track will blow people away in a club. Dark, techie, driving.... if thats how you like your trance, this is the rework for you

Hypaethrame Remix

If you don’t know who Hypaethrame is yet, where have you been hiding. One of the emerging producers of the moment he has given the original a great rework with this version. Chunky kicks matched with bass that cuts through the mix perfectly this track takes the release down a more uplifting feel. Plucks and pads build with the key changes as this percussion driven rework builds to a break of trance production excellence. Warm pads and delayed pianos fill your ears before strings bring the euphoria to the party. The huge uplifting arp will be sure to get peoples hands in the hand as the clamour for the drop, and when it drops, it DROPS. Uplifting trance at is best in this rework and its sure to set dance floors alight around the world. If pure uplifting trance is your bag, you need this track in yours!
