Georgian artist Sinoptik Music is a brand new addition to the Silk Sofa roster. "As Far Off As You Are" includes three original mixes, as well as an accompanying remix by fellow Georgian artist Andora Jane.
The Original Mix of the title track takes off with a truly haunting soundscape, in which we are presented with mysterious sound effects and mesmerizing percussion stems. While a deep bassline lurks in the background, the track continues with the introduction of the lush theme lead -- a tranquil and soothing melody that beautifully blends into the atmosphere. Andora Jane joins this release with a stunning remix of "As Far Off As You Are". A gorgeous soundscape is quickly established, consisting of a number of breathtaking string layers, choir elements, and sound effects. The piano lead melody sits perfectly on top, and the subtle and enjoyable breakbeat provides even more texture. "Don't Leave Me" showcases a remarkable breakbeat and intricate sound effects. Hypnotic vocal stems emerge while the overall mix picks up its momentum. A memorable theme lead fades in later, spicing up the mix even further. Finally, in "Feel Again" a soothing piano line kicks off the song, which also consists of a well-written breakbeat. The style of the track is similar to that of "Don't Leave Me"; haunting vocal stems and a theme lead surrounded by strong percussion elements form a unique soundscape.
