LeeJ Pres. Tranceality, disabled DJ presenter/host for the TranZality brand. Over 10 years of producing a weekly Trance show on internet and fm stations from a fully equipped remote home studio.

Commercial Trance & Tech that errs on the side of deep vocal and progressive.

 The Trance scene became known to me at school aged 14. I spent hours searching CD’s to record my favourites onto tape/MD, and then play it to my mates on our hour long bus trip to/from school.
Friends always said I would make a good DJ!
I always liked being the life and soul of the party, using music to get people talking…drunk…dancing… Happy days!
Since aged 18, GlobalGathering was a must for me, that was the turning point, the pinnacle if you will. 2005 Judge Jules, main stage in the sun and rain- The love for that DJ infused me. LeeJ wanted to make people happy under any eventuality.
Gareth Emery inspired me to start learning the art, I’ve followed him from the first time I heard his set on Radio1 essential mix. 
His mixed style in Trance and Progressive House to Dub. Playing out a DJ set that isn’t afraid to jump through genera, but still in keeping with the harmonic of the mix. 
Keeps you on your toes and the energy high. He has also inspired me to start learning music production in an attempt to understand my own DJ sets and take them to the next level.

With just under six weeks to go until BPM, the DJ of the Year competition is really heating up as August pulls summer into full swing. DJ of the Week this time is LeeJ (Lee Jones), whose seamless mixing and great track choices make him a worthy winner in a hotly-contested week 18. His deep, brooding tech house mix soon set the heart of the BPM office racing with its suspenseful, eerie vibes. After opening with pulsating, bass-heavy beats and trippy vocals, Lee takes us on an atmospheric journey through the dark Berlin vibes of &ME’s ‘After Dark’ and ‘Locust’ before moving the mix into brighter territory with the synth flashes and ‘Summer Drops’ of Mendo.

Opening with an ominous tide of brooding synths,VJLeeJ’s mix continued to go from strength to strength, as taut pulsing beats and atmospheric echo effects furthered the tech house vibes. Becoming our third DJ of the Week so far, LeeJ worked in tracks by Third Son and Skream for an unrelenting mix that bristled with energy and boasted careful track selection. Excellent work!
