Matthew Pear – Essential Vibes
Hailing from Warsaw, Matthew Pear was deeply passionate about the music since early childhood. For many years he has drifted through many genres like Rock and Hip Hop when finally he anchored in electronic music. After few years of listening to numerous Trance subgenres, he became aware that simply listening is not enough. That was the moment when he decided to start learning how to mix.
His style has evolved from progressive sounds to more uplifting vibes and especially tech trance. Matthew’s sets are characterized by high tempo, uplifting breakdowns, solid baseline and classic melodies. His breakthrough moment was the fact of playing at Global Gathering Poland in 2011 through a DJ contest. After that he played in many polish clubs in different cities alongside icons like John Askew, John 00 Fleming, Bryan Kearney, Mark Sherry and Talla 2XLC.
As a member of Essential Vibes collective, he is hosting the leading trance nights in the capital of Poland – Warsaw. If you want to became aware of his taste of music, you can listen to his Essential Vibes radio show that is aired every forth Sunday of the month on Afterhours.fm.
