Alex van ReeVe – Skyliner
For as long as he can remember, Alex van ReeVe has always had music within him and when he’d discovered Trance for the first time at the age of 13, he really felt a strong connection with such euphoric sounds and relentless, energetic beats. While he has always liked most electronic music styles, Trance is where his musical heart really lies and this is heard in his live sets, his Xanthe Sessions radio show and his productions too.
His style can be described as fusing progressive melodies, tech sounds and uplifting energy into one explosive mix. Although he had found success on home turf for many years, it wasn’t until 2013 when he eventually made his breakthrough with his debut release on Monster Tunes, ’Skyliner’ alongside Mike van Fabio. Since then, Alex’ studio has been on fire dishing high-octane, supercharged euphoric numbers on labels including Who’s Afraid of 138, In Trance We Trust, High Contrast, Rielism, Always Alive Recordings, Digital Society Recordings, Blue Soho Recordings, Extrema Global and Beyond Belief.
His productions have also seen major support from the elite of the scene, including Armin van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Gareth Emery, Sean Tyas, John Askew, Jordan Suckley, and Giuseppe Ottaviani to name but a few. While all of these have been major accomplishments for Alex over the years, he is always looking ahead towards the future. A very bright one at that!
