About Casey Allen

Casey Allen is the stage name of Andrea Martinelli, an Italian trance DJ, producer, film producer and professional sound engineer based in Rome. His career combines technical precision in audio production with a distinctive interest in the emotional and cinematic possibilities of electronic music.

His musical journey began in the mid-1990s, and he started DJing at the age of fifteen. He later collaborated with local radio stations including Radio Expansion, World Radio and Radio Zerosei. Since 2016, he has been involved with Radio Dance Roma, where he hosts and curates a programme dedicated to trance music and developments in the scene.

Uplifting and Progressive Trance With a Cinematic Sound

Casey Allen’s productions focus on the melodic and emotional sides of uplifting and progressive trance. Inspired by the orchestral atmospheres of Simon O’ Shine, his sound incorporates strings, solo piano, ethereal vocal lines and expansive breakdowns. His approach aims to preserve a track’s emotional impact even when the club rhythm is stripped away.

For listeners, this translates into trance with a strong sense of progression: carefully constructed melodies, immersive soundscapes and uplifting moments that connect the dancefloor with a more reflective musical experience.

Releases, Labels and DJ Support

Casey Allen’s studio work has drawn attention from labels including Suanda Music, Redux Recordings, Redux Magic and Reason Rise. His music has appeared on Beatport charts, and British trance producer Darren Porter has featured and supported his tracks in DJ sets.

Beyond his own productions, Andrea works professionally in mixing, mastering, ghost production and vocal trance arrangement for emerging and established artists.
