Laura van Dam – Capture Radio
Being labeled ‘The Future of Dance’, the rising star Laura van Dam, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is making significant waves in the global melodic techno & trance scene. Known by her music on renowned labels like Armada, Anjunabeats, ZeroThree (ToolRoom), Epic247 and AFTR:HRS, while playing at the biggest festivals and venues across the globe, including Ultra, Tomorrowland, Red Rocks, Brooklyn Mirage, EDC, Sunburn, A State of Trance, Parookaville and Ushuaïa Ibiza to name a few.
‘Capture Radio’ emerged from Laura van Dam’s profound love for electronic melodic music, aiming to create a space where listeners can find, or lose, themselves in the sounds and come together to feel that universal connection through true music.
Laura: “The name ‘Capture’ signifies those moments of complete immersion and emotional resonance with the music. I believe music connects people and conveys powerful emotions, and I want to harness and ‘capture’ this through my weekly show. For my DJ sets, I’m influenced and inspired by the sounds of melodic techno, progressive and trance, which allow me to tell and share my musical story. Simultaneously, I provide a platform for emerging talent and local artists, helping them gain the recognition they deserve.”
