No Light Thing – What’s On My Mind
Listen to No Light Thing – What’s On My Mind on AH.FM, a monthly electronic music show airing on the first Sunday of every month. The programme moves across trance, progressive, techno and house, guided by the tracks and ideas currently inspiring No Light Thing.
About What’s On My Mind
What’s On My Mind is a selection-driven show rather than a fixed-genre programme. Each edition reflects the sounds, track ideas and emotional qualities currently standing out to No Light Thing.
That means one month can lean more heavily into trance and progressive music, while another can include stronger techno or house influence. The common thread is personal curation rather than a rigid genre formula.

About No Light Thing
No Light Thing is an Austin-based DJ and producer whose sound spans trance, progressive, techno and house. The project is defined by openness to different electronic styles rather than being tied to one narrow scene.
What’s On My Mind turns that broad perspective into a recurring radio format, giving listeners a direct view into the music currently influencing his taste and creative direction.

Why the Open-Genre Format Works
Electronic music styles often overlap in mood, production and rhythm. A progressive track can sit naturally beside trance, while techno or house can add a different kind of groove without breaking the flow.
That flexibility is central to What’s On My Mind and allows each monthly edition to reflect a genuine snapshot of what is currently inspiring the artist.

A Personal Monthly Snapshot
Because the show is based on what is currently on No Light Thing’s mind, each edition can capture a different part of his musical taste. That gives the programme freedom to change direction while still feeling personal and consistent.
For regular listeners, that unpredictability is part of the appeal: the show is less about repeating a fixed formula and more about following the sounds that are genuinely resonating with the artist at that moment.
