About A New Dawn

A New Dawn is designed as a harmonious journey through uplifting trance. Each edition places melody and emotion at the centre while maintaining enough energy to keep the mix moving.

Recent releases are selected carefully rather than simply added because they are new. That gives the programme a stronger sense of cohesion from one track to the next.

About Ri3S

Ri3S is the project of Dutch DJ Richard van Bergenhenegouwen, whose sound is rooted in the uplifting side of trance. His radio style focuses on melody, emotion and careful sequencing rather than abrupt shifts in energy.

A New Dawn gives that approach a monthly format, allowing Ri3S to shape each edition around the strongest melodic releases currently fitting his sound.

Why Harmonic Flow Matters

When tracks are mixed with compatible melodic movement, transitions can feel smoother and the emotional direction of the set becomes easier to follow. That is especially effective in uplifting trance, where melody often carries much of the identity.

This gives A New Dawn a more continuous feel and helps each monthly edition function as one complete journey.
