Suncatcher & Exolight – Critical Exposure Radio
Suncatcher, it all started in 2003 with a LEVEL magazine and the demo version of Fruity Loops 3.5. It took 5 years for his first release, the lesser known ëSolariaí. But then, Above & Beyond played ëEpicí 3 times in TATW, and his career received the kickstart it was waiting for. Numerous signings at highly respected labels such as Enhanced, FSOE, Euphonic, AVA or Subculture, just to name a few and remixes for Tiesto, Adam Nickey, John OíCallaghan or Neptune Project have found their way into the playlists of DJís such as Armin van Buuren, John OíCallaghan, Sean Tyas, Aly & Fila, Above & Beyond or Paul van Dyk. These releases were naturally followed by gigs in Spain, UK, Holland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Slovakia and Romania, joining big festivals such as Luminosity Beach Festival, Afterhills or BeeFree.
In the recent years, Bogdan started experimenting with collabs, and found a new friend and perfect collab buddy in Exolight, with which he has released more than a dozen tracks and started a new project, Sunlight State, tackling the more bass-heavy and banginí style. And on the flip side, he continues to expand his horizon even more, venturing into the progressive area as well.
Exolight is a Romanian trance producer and DJ. His productions on FSOE, Always Alive, Subculture, Pure Trance, Ava White, Amsterdam Trance & Euphonic have gained him support from the world’s elite artists and regularly featured on playlists such as Armin van Buuren’s “A State of Trance”, Aly & Fila’s “Future Sound of Egypt”, Paul van Dyk’s “Vonyc Sessions” and many other shows and podcasts.
He started his career as a producer in 2016 when he releses his first track “Nothing Like You”, a collaboration with Suncatcher, included in Solarstone’s Pure Trance 5 compilation, followed by another collaboration, “Memory Of You”.
Ever since then they released more than 20 track together and they formed the project Sunlight State.
In 2017, Exolight continues his ascension and signs his fist solo tracks and other collaborations with Suncatcher on FSOE Fables & Always Alive Recordings. This gained him an ever growing number of fans and culminated in Exolight being asked to play the massive Luminosity Beach Festival in Netherlands, in 2018, Afterhills Festival in Iasi and other parties in Sofia, Bucharest, Cluj Napoca and Timisoara.
The year also saw the likes of Daniel Kandi team up with Exolight on the massive ‘Remember’ (Summer With You), other successfull collaborations with Suncatcher and a remix for Kyau & Albert’s The Night Sky”.
In 2019, Exolight is voted no. 77 in TrancePodium Best Trance DJs. He releases a dozen of tracks and plays at very popular festivals like Untold Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event and many other events.
