Eric Prydz (born 19 July 1976 in Täby, Sweden) is a world-renowned DJ, producer, and electronic music innovator whose influence spans progressive house, techno and immersive live performance art. Known widely by his own name and revered aliases like Pryda and Cirez D, Prydz has spent more than two decades pushing boundaries in dance music, earning respect from both underground purists and mainstream audiences alike.
Prydz first broke through in 2004 with the chart-topping anthem “Call on Me”, which dominated the UK singles chart and became one of the era’s most recognisable dance tracks. He continued to deliver iconic releases such as “Proper Education”, “Pjanoo” and the emotive, critically acclaimed “Opus” — the title track of his deeply atmospheric 2016 debut album.
Beyond his productions, Eric’s impact on the scene is defined by his innovative live experiences. From massive holographic shows like HOLO and Holosphere to his genre-blurring EPIC concert series, he has helped redefine what an electronic artist can do on stage — merging cutting-edge visuals with meticulously crafted soundscapes. He also runs multiple influential record labels — Pryda, Pryda Friends and Mouseville — through which he releases music that spans melodic progressions, dark techno depths and forward-thinking club cuts. (Eric Prydz)
A figure of both artistic depth and popular appeal, Eric Prydz remains one of electronic music’s most compelling and continually evolving voices.
One of the worlds longest running and most popular electronic music programs from a true pioneer of dance music.
